Course Summary

Collaborative 9 Missions driven event solving HR tech challenges, building innovative solutions for success with primary focus on SAP SuccessFactors. All other HR Tech products also can participate in our Hackathon to solve business problems in industry. It'll be 9 week program with 9 missions. 

The redesigned structure maps the SAP Activate phases to your missions effectively, aligning the project implementation lifecycle with continuous improvement, innovation, and transformation. By ensuring that Track 04 (Implementation + Guided Implementation) is consistently emphasized, it keeps implementation central across all missions, even in post-go-live phases.

It is also aligned with 20 Tracks offered by SuccessLabs Academy

Here’s a summary of how each mission aligns with the SAP Activate phases:

  1. Discover:
    • Primary Focus: Understanding the product, emerging trends, and industry-specific needs.
    • SAP Activate Phase: Discover – This is where the vision is shaped, and initial insights are gathered for the solution's fit within the business.
    • Tracks: Product, Emerging Trends, Industry, and Guided Implementation ensure a well-rounded discovery process.
  2. Prepare:
    • Primary Focus: Planning, strategy, and laying the foundation for project management.
    • SAP Activate Phase: Prepare – The phase where project management, solution strategy, and architecture are defined, ensuring readiness for detailed design and implementation.
    • Tracks: Process, Project Management, Strategy & Architecture, and Guided Implementation make sure the organization is prepared for execution.
  3. Explore:
    • Primary Focus: Deep dive into architecture and strategic exploration.
    • SAP Activate Phase: Explore – This aligns with the SAP blueprinting phase, where the design of the solution is explored and iterated based on best practices.
    • Tracks: Strategy & Architecture, Pure Research, Ask Me Anything, and Guided Implementation encourage knowledge sharing, brainstorming, and solution mapping.
  4. Realize:
    • Primary Focus: Actual implementation and system integration.
    • SAP Activate Phase: Realize – Focuses on building and testing the solution.
    • Tracks: Implementation & Integration, Product Management, Testing, and Guided Implementation highlight the importance of integration, management, and quality assurance during this crucial phase.
  5. Deploy:
    • Primary Focus: Transition to operations, migration, and AMS (Application Management Services).
    • SAP Activate Phase: Deploy – This ensures a smooth cutover to production with operational readiness, data migration, and application management in place.
    • Tracks: Operation, Migration, Application Management Services, and Guided Implementation are key for deploying the solution effectively and minimizing disruptions.
  6. Optimize:
    • Primary Focus: Post-go-live stabilization and continuous quality improvement.
    • SAP Activate Phase: Run – Focused on maintaining and optimizing the solution after deployment.
    • Tracks: Quality Assurance (Testing), Application Management Services, Integration, and Guided Implementation focus on fine-tuning the solution to improve performance and resolve issues.

    • Primary Focus: Professional growth through certification, career prep, and resource curation.
    • SAP Activate Phase: Run – Although this mission focuses on human capital (certification, interviews), it supports the continuous running and improvement phase.
    • Tracks: Certification, Interview Prep, Podcasts/Videos, Resources help elevate individual and team capabilities post-go-live.
  8. Innovate:
    • Primary Focus: Identifying emerging trends and fostering innovation within the implemented solution.
    • SAP Activate Phase: Run – This phase pushes the solution to evolve through innovation and adopting cutting-edge technologies.
    • Tracks: Emerging Trends, Pure Research, Product Management, and Guided Implementation encourage pushing boundaries to keep the solution competitive and efficient.
  9. Transform:
    • Primary Focus: Major transformations driven by industry needs and presales activities.
    • SAP Activate Phase: Run – This phase involves larger business transformations enabled by the SAP solution, moving beyond basic optimizations.
    • Tracks: Industry, Presales, Emerging Trends, and Guided Implementation focus on using the solution to transform the business further, leveraging industry-specific insights.
